These terms apply to the FaderLog app and to faderlog.app. FaderLog is developed and operated by OÜ ACD ENTERTAINMENT, a company registered in Estonia (registry code 12067736) — "we" and "us" below. By installing or using FaderLog you agree to these terms. How the app handles your data is covered separately in the privacy policy.
FaderLog records audio from a USB DJ mixer or audio interface connected to your phone and saves it as WAV files on the device. It also offers cue markers, editing, sharing and an optional video mode. There is no account and no cloud service: the app works on your device.
FaderLog works with USB devices that follow the standard USB audio class, but we cannot guarantee that every mixer, audio interface, cable, hub or phone works with it. Some phones limit USB power or USB audio, and makers can change how their devices behave in firmware updates. Mentions of specific hardware on our site or in the app describe what we or other users have tested; they are not a promise that your setup will work.
You agree not to:
We may update, change or remove features, and may stop developing FaderLog. Because the app records on your device, recordings you have already made remain yours and stay on your device whatever happens to the app. If we stop offering FaderLog, a Pro unlock you have already bought keeps working in the copy installed on your device for as long as your device and operating system can run it.
FaderLog, its name, logo, design and code are owned by OÜ ACD ENTERTAINMENT and protected by intellectual property laws. Buying Pro gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app; it does not transfer ownership of the app. Product names of mixers and audio interfaces are trademarks of their respective owners; FaderLog is not affiliated with or endorsed by any hardware maker.
FaderLog is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will work without interruption or errors, with every device, or that a recording will never be lost or damaged.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any warranty or right that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you as a consumer.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of recordings, loss of earnings or a missed performance, arising from your use of FaderLog.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to FaderLog is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, and the courts of Estonia have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-law provisions of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there.
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you in the app where we reasonably can. Continuing to use FaderLog after a change means you accept the updated terms.
